We crossed Croatian and Serbian border quite late. Around 22 pm, direction Novi Sad. A friend from Nastya was waiting for us in his parents rural house.
The way was bumpy as hell, only one side road, and only half of it paved. So, whenever two cars came in opposite directions, one had to go on the dirt road. Serbian Style!
In the house we were welcomed by 3 little kittens, and one big dog (no pic for the doggy). We had a night drinking wine and meeting our host.
The day after, we went to visit Novi Sad and Sremska Kamenica. The first is the second most important city of Serbia and the latter is a nice town on the other side of the Danube river.
Novi Sad has a lot of things to do, one of my favourites was the Danube sandy beach and the wine cellars .
Here some pictures as usual.
First from Sremska Kamenica, in this balcony is where the Kingdom of Yugoslavia was first proclaimed
Then a Serbian Orthodox Church
A grape press, to make wine I guess.
And some nice glasses
These pics are from Novi Sad, and then my camera had no more batteries.
